Love Chapel Christmas Feast Baskets & Immediate Needs
Every year, Asbury partners with Love Chapel to bless local families during the holidays. Your generosity makes a massive impact—each Christmas Basket distributed is valued at $80! Here is how you can help us reach our goals this season.
🎄 Christmas Feast Basket Collection
To best serve our community, we are collecting both financial gifts and traditional canned goods.
Option 1: Monetary Donations (Most Impactful!)
By donating financially, we can take advantage of Love Chapel’s incredible bulk buying power to purchase food at a fraction of the cost.
- 📅 Deadline: Sunday, September 13
- 📍 Where: Turn in to the church office
Option 2: Canned Good Donations
Help us keep up our proud Asbury tradition! We aim to collect a total of 800 cans of corn and green beans.
- 📅 Deadline: Friday, October 30
- 📍 Where: Drop off at the designated church collection bins
🚨 Immediate Needs for Love Chapel & Brighter Days
Beyond the Christmas baskets, Love Chapel has immediate needs for their school program, homeless lunches, and the Brighter Days shelter. Please drop these items off at the church anytime.
🛒 Food Pantry & Lunch Supplies
(Ideal for School Programs & Homeless Lunches)
- Snack packs
- Fruit cups & applesauce cups
- Peanut butter (18 oz. jars)
- Spaghetti O’s, Ravioli, and Chili Mac
- Crackers (plain or pre-filled with peanut butter)
- Quaker granola bars (or similar chewy bars)
👕 Brighter Days Shelter Needs
(Items must be brand new)
- Men’s underwear (all sizes)
- Men’s belts (assorted sizes)
- White washcloths
- White bath towels

Have you ever wished you could understand how to read the Bible better? Do you ever feel a little lost among all the names, places, and events mentioned in a sermon or Sunday school class?
You are not alone—and this group is for you.
A Message from Group Leader, Theresa Anderson:
“I grew up in a home that didn’t attend church and became a Christian as an adult. When I first started attending Bible studies, I felt completely lost in the discussions and honestly wished there was a ‘Bible for Dummies’ book! Because I’ve been there, I want to create a safe, judgment-free space for anyone who wants to learn the basics of how to use, navigate, and study the Bible.”

- 🗓️ When: Wednesday evenings (Following our weekly Family Dinner!)
- 🧒 Childcare: Provided! (Take advantage of the childcare already happening on campus)
- 🛑 No Experience Required: This is a starter class. Bring your questions, doubts, and curiosity.
